Kirsty Austin is the Deputy Director, Systems and Strategies, in the Future of Transport, Systems and Environment Directorate in the Department for Transport.
Her team lead on delivery of a range of policies in the Transport Decarbonisation Plan (including commute zero and sustainable travel rewards) as well as initiatives designed to create a sustainable transport future while also delivering better services for people and businesses.
Kirsty is an experienced senior civil servant with a background in policy, delivery and governance.
