Rosslyn has over thirty years’ experience of leading and managing teams in the commercial,
public and voluntary sectors. Her career focuses on the heritage, environmental and
transport sectors where she secures partnerships, delivers ambitious projects and
transforms the way teams operate. Sustrans are the charity that makes it easier for people to
walk and cycle. Sustrans North have pioneered an integrated approach; bringing together
cycling and walking networks, collaborative design and behaviour change expertise to
enable people to choose to travel actively for their shorter journeys.
Rosslyn influences and inspires political support through the power of networks and
collaboration, bringing her energy, resilience and determination to help create positive
change.
Rosslyn especially loves audacious projects like Sustrans’ 12,000 mile National Cycle
Network, used by millions of people – walking and cycling - every year. Previous projects
include a Victorian Boat Lift restoration in Northwich, a floating visitor centre at Brockholes
Nature Reserve near Preston the £12m redevelopment of the Octagon Theatre in Bolton.
